About us
An organisation working to organise, represent and develop rural women in Cameroon.
Overview
Federation of Rural Women's Networks of Cameroon
The Federation of Rural Women's Networks of Cameroon (FRFRC) brings together women organised in networks around a shared ambition: to make rural women's potential a real engine of economic, social and community development.
It supports women in farming, processing local products, entrepreneurship, developing agricultural value chains and creating income-generating activities.
It works to build women's skills, showcase their know-how, ease their access to markets and economic opportunities, and promote their participation in the development of their communities.
Rural women are not just beneficiaries of development — they are essential drivers of it.

Our story
The Federation was born of a conviction: rural women have an essential role to play in Cameroon's development. To give them more weight, it chose to organise them into networks and to federate those networks at national level.
Today the FRFRC relies on 35 local branches and some 5,500 mobilised women. Its ANGARA BINENGA Bé Nnam festival is in its sixth edition, and its GOLDEN programme carries its first agricultural value-chain projects. It now aims to be present in all ten regions of the country.
Our vision
To build a Cameroon in which rural women are organised, economically independent, recognised for their skills and fully involved in the decisions that shape their future and that of their communities.
We want to help bring about a dynamic rural world in which local resources are valued, farming creates wealth and women have real opportunities to start businesses, innovate and prosper.

A word from the President
An open door to rural women
Dear partners, dear rural women, dear visitors,
Welcome to the official website of the Federation of Rural Women's Networks of Cameroon (FRFRC).
The Federation was born of a deep conviction: rural women have an essential role to play in our country's development. They produce, process, feed families, preserve our traditions and contribute every day to the vitality of our communities. Yet their work and potential still deserve more recognition, support and opportunity.
That is why we work to bring women together, build their skills and support their economic initiatives. Our ambition is to make farming, local processing and rural entrepreneurship real levers of empowerment and wealth creation.
Through our networks, our projects and the ANGARA BINENGA Bé Nnam festival, we want to give rural women greater visibility, showcase their know-how and build bridges between their initiatives and the opportunities offered by institutions, businesses and development partners.
We are convinced that rural development cannot be built without the women who keep our territories alive. That is why we want to strengthen our collaboration with everyone who shares this vision and wishes to contribute to concrete, lasting action.
This website is an open door to our organisation, our projects, our ambitions and the women we support. We invite you to discover our initiatives, to join us and to build partnerships that deliver results with us.
Together, let's give rural women the means to produce, process, start businesses and prosper.
Appolonie NGONOPresident of the Federation of Rural Women's Networks of Cameroon (FRFRC)
